Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev spoke at the plenary session of the XII International Investment Forum “Sochi- 2014”.
The main theme of the Forum was – new regional policy in the modern world and investment climate in the regions. According to the Prime Minister, “Russian attention to the East, the intensification of trade-economic and investment cooperation with Asian countries became one of the most important components of our foreign policy”.
Dmitry Medvedev also noted that the potential for cooperation with Asian partners simply enormous, and to implement and run the engine for areas of advanced development (TOR). 14 of the most promising platforms to run TOR already selected. On the territory of Kamchatsky Krai plans to create an area of rapid development, “Kamchatka”, associated with the development of the port-industrial, industrial and touristic potential of the region.
