Nikolay Pegin took part in the panel discussion “Investment clime in the regions: how to ensure that development policies in resource-limited settings”

During the framework of the XIII International Investment Forum “Sochi-2014” was held a panel discussion “Investment climate in the regions: how to ensure that development policies in resource-limited settings”, which was attended by the General Director of the Development Corporation of Kamchatka” Nikolay Pegin.

Basic information was presented the Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev.

Participants of the panel discussion were the governors and heads of regional delegations, members of the Federal Government, heads of major financial institutions and industrial enterprises.

The discussion was also attended by the Governor of the Murmansk region Marina Kovtun, which at the end of the main part of the event was held a working meeting for Nikolay Pegin. The theme of the meeting was to discuss the prospects of development of the Northern Transport Corridor in connection with the beginning of intensive navigation along the Northern Sea Route. Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to consolidate efforts and the necessity of signing the agreement on cooperation between the region with the aim of establishing cooperation in the joint development of transport potential of the Northern and North-Eastern territories of Russia.
