The specialists of “Development Corporation of Kamchatka” have presented elaborated concept of territory of advanced socio-economic development (TASED) “Kamchatka” to the work group. This was announced by the deputy general director of “Development Corporation of Kamchatka” investment projects Mikhail Kostenets.

Meeting of the working group on the creation of TASED “Kamchatka” was held on Thursday, October 2, under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman of the Government of Kamchatsky Krai Marina Subbota. Participation was attended by the representatives of relevant ministers, regional governments, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky commercial sea port, administration of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky city district and Yelizovo district.

“After exploring of the opportunities and consultation with Ministry of Far East development of Russian Federation”, in the part of TASED “Kamchatka” may include tourist cluster “Paratunka”, as well as the airport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. At the meeting of the working group “Development Corporation of Kamchatka”, revised to reflect these changes”, said Mikhail Kostenets.

The decision of the working group, during the next week specialist of “Development Corporation of Kamchatka”, together with specialized agencies of the region and municipalities to improve the planning documents of TASED “Kamchatka”, placement plans and potential residents of the territory of advanced development, then the concept will be submitted again or consideration by the working group.

As part of the creation project TASED “Kamchatka” provides for the establishment of several industrial and logistics zones of port type: bulk cargo terminal, international class terminal for container logistics, fishing and bunkering terminal and business area (social business center). Some sites will be established on the basis of JSC “Petropavlovsky sudoverf” and “cosmetic factory”. Yet number of industrial and business area will be located on the basis of the production capacities of JSC” Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky shipyard” in the southern part of the Avachinsky guba. Also in TASER will enter the territory of JSC “Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky sea trading port”, tourism cluster “Paratunka” and airport Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
