The creation project of advanced socio-economic development territory in the Kamchatsky krai will be considered at the nearest session of the Governmental Commission on the implementation of investment projects in the Far East. The Commission will be held on Tuesday in Vladivostok, under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister - Plenipotentiary representative of the President of Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal district Yuri Trutnev. The Deputy Prime Minister told about that to the reporters at the end of the meeting, which was held on the Kamchatsky krai on the establishment TOSER in the region.
“We have no doubt, that we will create a TOR in Kamchatka, but it was necessary to clarify the content of what we include in this concept – said Yuri Trutnev. – Today is a fairly comprehensive proposal, which consists of 9 sites related to very different categories: tourist and recreational complex, agriculture, with the development of port infrastructure. The main driver of economic development of our colleagues from Kamchatsky krai Administration recognize tourism in its different directions. We support it, we recognize that Kamchatka- is an amazing land. To show it`s nature for the people – it is very important for the Russian Federation and for our neighbors”.
The Governor of Kamchatsky krai Vladimir Ilyukhin said that the project of territory of advanced development “Kamchatka” is unique for the Far East. “In my opinion, there is not another such project. It was truly integrated: beginning from the air and sea gate, where meet tourists and ending by tourist object and routes. We also talking about how to reconstruct our port into port-hub, and this bunkering question and supply with other goods. Kamchatka is a really big and important breakthrough. Hopefully soon territory of advanced development Kamchatka will work” – said Vladimir Ilyukhin.
Summing up the last meeting in the region, the Presidential Plenipotentiary of the Far Eastern Federal district told about the agreements which reached with the business community. “There we have offers from investors to start in a parallel, it means that we beginning the creation of infrastructure of the territory of advanced development and parallel they start investments in the project. In addition, each one will take responsibility,” – said Yuri Trutnev. He stressed that the governments are ready to make a commitment for the construction of infrastructure in the case of guarantees on the part of private investors. “We will sign an agreement with investors that they start the project, build a hotel, greenhouse or other object. There was a reciprocal question – in this case are Governments ready to take their share of responsibility. I consider the question is absolutely correct. If we work together, the responsibility should be taken by each of the parties” – said Deputy Prime Minister.
“I am pleased that the residents of our territory of advanced development are extremely interested in its implementation. They gave a desire to work, optimism is present. The funds which they are going to invest in the economy of the region, and it considerable means, which for Kamchatka is very important”, - said Governor of Kamchatka Vladimir Ilyukhin.
We recall, the creation concept of advanced socio-economic development territory “Kamchatka” was developed with the participation of “Development Corporation of Kamchatka”. At the moment, confirmed their participation and investments of 13 residents: 3 residents- it terms of agro-industrial unit, 2 residents – in terms of port and industrial sphere, 6 residents – in terms of tourist-recreational, 2 – in terms of air-transport block. Now declared private investments of 28.1 billion rubles, the stated number of jobs created- 1900.The required budget investments in infrastructure of territory of advanced development – 8.4 billion rubles.
One of the major areas of territory of advanced development located at the sea port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, where planned the construction and reconstruction of the quay wall for mooring of sea cruise ships, creation of tourist facilities and port infrastructure. Today experts of “Development Corporation of Kamchatka” conduct negotiations, in order to attract for the participation in this project, an international investment company “Najadi & Partners”.
