September 4, 16:00 in the Theater of drama and Comedy which is located in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky took place opening of the International Investment form “ Far East – 2014” Participation in the event accepted by 530 people , including 70 representatives of other countries.
Greetings to the forum participants were addressed by the Governor of Kamchatsky Krai Vladimir Ilyukhin, Chairman of the Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation for security and corruption counteraction Irina Yarovaya, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on economic policy, innovation development and entrepreneurship Igor Rudensky, authorized the President of the Russia Federation on protection of entrepreneurs rights Boris Titov, and Director of the “Euromoney Conference” Christopher Garnett and independent Director of “ Sistema” company, Chairman of the Association of European Business in Russia Roger Munnings.
On Friday, September 5, the investment forum will be opened with a panel discussion of “Far East of Russia at the crossroads between Europe and Asia-Pacific region”, by the end of which work will continue in a sections devoted to : development of transport, agricultural, fishery and mineral complexes, energy, sports and tourism. In the framework of the forum planned to sign a number of agreements on cooperation in sphere of mineral resources and tourism sector.
Forum organized by the Governments of Kamchatsky Krai and “Development Corporation of Kamchatka” supported by the Ministry of the Russian Federation on development of the Far East. Main object of the forum is to attract investments and partners into the development of the Far East, as well as to develop effective mechanisms for integration of the Far East in the international economic space.
