Investment forum “Far East – 2014” will be opened in Petropavlovsk- Kamchatsky on September 4. Forum is held by the governments of Kamchatsky Krai and “Development Corporation of Kamchatka” supported by the Ministry of the Russian Federation on development of the Far East.
Subject of the forum will be the prospects of development on the Far East in the field of energy, transport (including the Northern sea route), use of natural, industrial and tourists potential of the Far Eastern regions and creation of advanced development areas.
Investment forum will be attended by Federal and Regional bodies of state power of the Russian Federation, leading Russian and foreign financial and investment institutions, transport, energy, industrial and tourist companies, experts and media representatives.
Investment forum “ Far East -2014” is a platform for experts and potential investors , - said General Director of the “ Development Corporation of Kamchatka” Nikolai Pegin .- Main goal of the investment forum, first of all, the promotion of inward investments in the Far Eastern region of the country and, in particular, stimulation of economy of the Kamchatsky Krai. Today in Kamchatka have many ideas and initiatives, that could be attractive for investors and Russia, especially in the Asia-Pacific region : mineral and agro-industry, fishing industry, tourism. Investors are wondering which preferences they can receive in the region, is an environment there effective for investments funds, how profitable is this investments. And , I consider, the forum will answer these questions .
