Considerable attention was paid to the analysis of the effectiveness of the business support system and the formation of a favorable investment climate in the macroregion.

Yury Trutnev does not see a need for the formation of new support measures, as the existing ones have proven their effectiveness, but he sees an obvious need for improvement, because about five years have passed since many laws those measures bases on were made. “So we must take the next steps,” Deputy Prime Minister summarized.

The Director General of the Development Corporation of Kamchatka, Yulia Kharitonova, also notes that though the mechanisms of socio-economic development, like any other system, need to be constantly updated, they remain highly efficient.

Nowadays there are more than sixty measures of business support that are used in Kamchatka. The rational use of these mechanisms allows the region to create an attractive business climate, as evidenced by the high place of the region in the National Investment Climate Ranking, and the impressive pace of socio-economic development.
